Compton Vs. The World!

If you have been living under a rock, you may not have known that Kendrick Lamar's 4th studio album "DAMN" released today. Coming from one of the best albums of 2015, "To Pimp A Butterfly" and its counterpart "untitled unmastered",  the TDE (Top Dog Entertainment) phenom had hip-hop fanatics in a frenzy following the release of leading single "HUMBLE" a few weeks before "DAMN" (currently the number 2 song in the United States).

This album is topical, political, and introspective all at once. Kendrick uses his lyrics to shed light on police brutality, the greed associated with industry rappers, President Donald Trump, right-wing news, and even the origins of Top Dog Entertainment.

With contributors such as Rihanna, Zacari, Mike WiLL Made-It, DJ Dahi, Anthony Tiffith, Sounwave, Bekon, and even vocals from Kid Capri, it seems Kendrick gets better and better with each album. "DAMN" is one of my favorites of 2017.
